About

My name is Monica Ripp and I am a maker enthusiast. I grew up building things, starting with Pipeworks, Legos, and K’nex, and graduating to the woodworking tools in my father’s basement workshop. In my studies as a physicist, I have learned more technical fabrication techniques such as traditional aluminum milling and lathing, and CAD/CAM design using 3D printers and CNC tools. In my personal time, I love to learn new crafting skills such as wood burning, crocheting, sewing, etc.
